03.29.12 Leadership Development…on Safari?

I am currently on safari in East Africa in the Serengeti Game Reserve and have been blown away by our guide/tracker “Ray.”

Throughout each game drive, Ray has educated us every step of the way.  With my passion for African wildlife, I really appreciate his openness to learn and further appreciate the land.

Ray represents someone who is passionate about what he does and gives his knowledge to people as a gift.  His sincerity and connectedness to his land is quite moving. These characteristics make a great leader, no matter what size the organization.  It is these traits I have seen brought out so many times through  leadership development and sales training programs with clients. They inspire me!

The question for all of us is: are we moving people with our love of what we sell and recommend?
